In 2001 Vauxhall added the front-wheel drive Vivaro to its light commercial vehicle range.

The result of a joint- venture with the Renault traffic and also sold as the Nissan primastar, Vauxhall has a choice of engines in its new range, the 2.0-litre and a 2.5- litre Euro 4 common rail turbo diesel, replacing the underpowered 1.9-litre models in 2006.

With a new 6 speed dashboard mounted gearbox, these new diesels are vibration free with a wide spread of torque and are much smoother in their power delivery.

ABS yet again is standard with handling and ride well up to par compared to its competitors.

With ample storage facilities including a bin in each door panel a lockable glove box and a can/cup holder at either end of dashboard.

New standard features include Tinted windows and a height adjustable driver’s seat.

SWB models have a load area of 5.0m3 with LWB models have a load area of 5.9m3.

Servicing is required every 18,000 miles and it’s complimented with a three-year/ 100,000 mile warranty.
