Question. What’s the difference between the Mercedes Sprinter 311 and 313?
Answer. The only difference between a Mercedes Sprinter 311 and 313 is the bhp, the 311 has 109bhp, the 313 has 129bhp.
Question. What’s the difference between a Low Loader and Luton with a tail lift?
Answer. Low loader Luton have a load height of approximately 550mm which means that the loading area is low enough to step into which considerably reduces the time it takes to load up the van. Luton’s with a tail lift on the other hand take longer but can lift very heavy items of up to 500kg.
Question. Which Luton’s are the most reliable?
Answer. Generally the Mercedes, VW and Ford vans which use high quality components are regarded as the most reliable and as such tend to hold their price when sold on the second hand market.

Answer. They are all pretty much the same, approximately 1000Kg, this has been reduced due to most of our Luton’s we have in stock come with a 500Kg tail lift.

Answer. The Ford Transit 350 EF (extended frame) has the longest standard load length of 13ft 6”, whereas the Mercedes Sprinter / VW Crafter has a standard load length of 13ft.

Answer. All of the Luton vans listed above will come in a range of engine sizes each with again with a range of Power outputs, but generally the Fiat Ducato/ Citroen relay Lo – loaders as these are available with 3.0 Td 160bhp
Question. Which Luton comes with the best safety features?
Answer. Well, no manufacturers compromise on safety but as a rule the Mercedes and VW would be at the front as they are rear wheel drive and are fitted with ABS, ESP and disc brakes all round.

It would seem the Low loader would be the better choice not only can it carry more, but its quicker for loading and unloading. The Renault Master Low loader is also a very stylish looking Luton.
